SWP Applicants Required to Present Diploma or Proof of Training and Resume

The Bureau of Immigration recently released Operations Order No. JHM-2020-002 “Supplemental Guidelines for Special Work Permit (SWP) Applications” wherein it sets additional requirements for SWP applicants who shall occupy Consultant or Specialist positions:

Age Requirement

The applicant must be at least 25 years old at the time of SWP filing.

Work Experience or Training and Educational Attainment

At least 2 years of relevant work experience or training related to the proposed position must be established. Below are required as supporting documents:

  1. Certified True Copy of Diploma or Certificate of Completion as attested by the authorized officer of the Petitioner Company
  2. Certificate of Training, Course Completion or Resume as attested by the authorized officer of the Petitioner Company
