With the recent developments regarding the Covid-19 Omicron variant, the IATF released Resolution No. 151-A which states the following:
Update on Red List Countries Effective 28 November 2021
Suspension of the Entry of Tourists under the provisions of IATF Res. 150-A
The above-mentioned resolution would have allowed entry of foreign nationals sans existing visa from 1 – 15 December 2021; provided that they are visa-waived nationals, fully-vaccinated against Covid-19, and have stayed in Green List countries 14 days prior to arrival in the PH. However, with the detection of Covid-19 Omicron variant in several countries, the PH decided to suspend entry of said foreigners for the meantime.
Suspension of Testing & Quarantine Protocols for Green List Countries Effective 28 November 2021
Foreigners eligible entry to the PH (with long-term PH visa or Entry Exemption Document) coming from Green List Countries should now follow the following testing & quarantine protocols which is the same as those for Yellow List Countries:
