The IATF, through its Resolution No. 168, recommended the following entry requirements for foreign tourists/temporary visitors which shall take in effect starting 30 May 2022:
- Present the following acceptable proof of being “fully vaccinated” against Covid-19:
- WHO International Certificate of Vaccination,
- VaxCertPH
- National or state vaccination certificate of the country/foreign government
- Negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours OR negative laboratory-based Antigen test taken within 24 hours from departure from point of origin (See below for exemptions to this requirement);
- Passport should be valid for at least 6 months from arrival date in the Philippines;
- Valid onward ticket to next port of destination, corresponding on their allowed duration of stay (See below for exemptions to this requirement);
- Registration with One Health Pass
A. Exemptions re: the RT-PCR/Antigen Test Requirements:
- For age 18 years old above, proof of vaccination should show recipient has received primary series COVID-19 vaccine and at least 1 Covid-19 booster shot;
- For age 12 to 17 years old, proof of vaccination should show recipient has received primary series COVID-19 vaccine, wherein the 2nd dose (or single dose, for single-dose vaccines) was received more than 14 days from departure from country of origin;
- For age below 12 years old, regardless of their vaccination status, provided that they are accompanied by parents/guardians who satisfy either item A1 & A2 above.
B. Exemption re: Onward Ticket
Foreign spouses and/or children of former Filipino citizens with balikbayan privilege under RA No. 9174, provided that they are traveling with the former Filipino national.
