The DOLE released Advisory #04-19 last May 31, 2019 which indicates that the said office shall include Tax Identification Number (TIN) as part of the requirements for Alien Employment Permit (AEP) application. Foreign workers who will apply for AEP should secure TIN through EO 98 (One Time Issuance) Section of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Revenue District Office (RDO) with jurisdiction over their place of work or employer’s area of operation within ten (10) days from employment date.
Registered or verified TIN on BIR form 1904, 1902 or printed eTIN are accepted proof of TIN for AEP applications.
