AEP Advisory: Undertaking Required Pending Submission of Valid Business Permit

Pursuant to DOLE AEP Advisory No. 260-01, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) now requires the submission of a notarized affidavit of undertaking for all Alien Employment Permit (AEP) applications, in view of the delayed release of Business Permits for 2026.

Key Requirement:

Notarized Affidavit of Undertaking committing to submit the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the valid 2026 Business Permit on or before 28 February 2026.

Failure to comply with the above requirement may result in processing delays or non-issuance of the AEP.
