Following the recommendations of the IATF in its Resolution No. 103 to temporarily suspend the arrival of foreign nationals related to the surge of Covid 19 cases in the Philippines, the Bureau of Immigration release its guidelines in the implementation of the travel suspension:

  • Effective March 22 (Monday) until April 21 (Wednesday), the maximum allowed number of arriving passengers to be admitted shall be lowered to 1,500 only;
  • On the said period, only the following foreign nationals shall be allowed entry to the PH:
    1. Foreign spouses and children of Filipinos, provided that a) they are traveling together with the Filipino nationals, and b) they have valid Philippine visas at the time of entry;
    2. Diplomats, members of international organization, and their dependents as long as they have valid 9(e) or 47(a)2 visa at the time of entry;
    3. Foreign seafarers with valid 9(c) visa;
    4. Those involved in emergency and humanitarian cases with approval from the NTF Covid-19 Chairperson or his duly authorized representative, and those involved in DFA-OUMWA and OWWA endorsed medical repatriation, provided that they have valid Philippine visas at the time of entry
