The Bureau of Immigration (BI) released a memo on 25 Feb 2021 in compliance with the Memorandum from the Secretary of Justice dated 19 Feb 2021 directing them to allow foreigners to pay for their new Return Permit (RP) or Special Return Certificate (SRC) at the Philippine airport upon their arrival. This applies to foreigners who are eligible to enter the PH based on past IATF resolutions but either lost their RP/SRC or have expired ones.

Affected travelers shall be directed to pay the RP/SRC at the Immigration Cashier at the airport’s Departure area and they may be admitted upon presentation of the official receipt as proof of validly extended RP/SRC. Travelers are advised not to accept offers of airport personnels to pay for the expired RP/SRC on their behalf.
