The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Resolution No. 89 released December 17, 2020 states that 9E and 9G visa holders may be allowed to re-enter the Philippines under below conditions:
- That they left the Philippines December 17, 2020 onwards;
- Their visas are valid by the time they return to the Philippines;
- They provide proof of pre-booked quarantine facility and pre-booked COVID-19 testing at a lab operating at the airport upon arrival;
- Their admission is subject to the maximum capacity of inbound passengers at the port and date of entry
Relative to this development, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) released the Revised Guidelines as per IATF-MEID Resolution No. 89 to clarify that 9E & 9G visa holders who left the Philippines earlier than December 17, 2020 are still subjected to the travel ban restrictions. Moreover, the returning 9G visa holders qualified for re-entry must be able to present their valid ACR I-Cards and Special Return Certificate (SRC). Non-compliance shall be a ground for exclusion.
