According to Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Resolution No. 85, select foreign nationals may be allowed visa-free entry under the “Balikbayan Privilege” starting December 7, 2020, with the following provisions:
- These foreign nationals are allowed visa-free entry under Executive Order No. 408 s. 1960;
- The foreign nationals are either spouses or children (regardless of age) of Filipino citizens or former Filipino citizens (Balikbayan) and are traveling together with the Balikbayan to the Philippines;
- Presentation of the following:
- old Philippine passport or birth certificate of the Filipino or former Filipino traveler to the Immigration Officer (IO) upon arrival in the PH;
- proof of filiation of the foreign national (i.e. birth certificate, marriage certificate) to the Filipino or former Filipino to the IO;
- proof of pre-booked accredited quarantine facility
- pre-booked COVID-19 testing
- onward ticket
